The Nobel Prize? Really?!?

I suppose I am not surprised. The Nobel Peace Prize has long ago lost its credibility with me. With winners like Al Gore and Jimmy Carter, whose actually accomplishments are questionable, and with winners like Roosevelt and Wilson, who are political progressives instrumental in taking America heavily in a socialist direction, I long since accepted that the Peace Prize was a political ploy only these days. Obama is a Liar and a Fraud

Our new president said a lot of things along the path to election. Some of those things perked up the ears of conservatives and freedom lovers, including even a few libertarians. I personally was not impressed, but there were a number of promises made that, if kept, would at least permit me to ahve some respect for Obama’s actions as president. Even when in direct disagreement about the best actions to take and the proper path for our government and this country, I can at least respect a man who does what he says and remains consistent. I can also appreciate some of the things he said he wanted to do.

Obviously, its too early to tell of Obama will be, in the end, what the title of this post suggests. He has, however, done a great deal so far, some of it consistent, some of it not. Main St. VS. Wall St.

I was talking to a friend the other day about the horrid fiscal policies of our new president, as evidenced by the continuing effect on the stock market. Yes, I know we have had two days of recovery, but none of it has anything to do with Obama. And yes, I know that much of the issues with the market are the results of bad fiscal policy for over 2 decades, not just Obama’s actions.
