A Redress of Grievances
The final part of our first amendment to the Constitution of these United States refers to the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Such petitions were sent by our founding fathers many times before revolution was engaged in. It is not time for revolution, but it is time to begin to seriously ask our government to fix specific things. To let them know that we realize their faults and failures. That we are being harmed by their actions and we know it. That such failed policies, improper laws, violations of the constitution they have sworn by oath to uphold, and direct actions against individuals, groups, and the American people as a whole that are harmful and restrictive or that take away and violate our rights.
